Join Me @ Daytime 2023 in Australia!
OK - I know it’s a LONG flight, but come on down and attend this incredible day of professional development hosted and sponsored by one of my all-time favorite companies - MusicEdNet. Can’t make it in person? That’s cool - you can attend virtually (just like me)! :)
MusicEDNet is an amazing company based in Adelaide, Australia that is the go-to music technology solution provider, integrator and reseller in all of Australia and New Zealand. It is headed up by Managing Director Keith Huxtable, Warrick Dowdy and David Dowling. MusicFirst has been a very proud partner since 2013 and all of the MusicFirst solutions are available exclusively through them in ANZ.
For the past 10 years or so, Keith and his team have produced some amazing in-person professional development series of events that he calls Daytime. I have had the honor of presenting at a few of them and they are always super successful, well attended, and filled with amazing presentations by some of the best presenters out there.
This year, Daytime is back in person and streaming online. The first event is on Friday, June 2nd (Thursday June 1st US time) from 8:30am to 4pm ACT. MusicEDNet will be at a variety of other events in the coming months, and hopefully they will announce more Daytime events soon. For this first event, I will be presenting a session remotely, and I will be joined by some amazing presenters, including: Ethan Hein, Steve Giddings, James Humberstone, Katie Argyle (Wardrobe), Peter Lee, Jeni Little, Michelle Lewis, and Caitlin Sandiford. They will be covering a wide variety of topics around the effective integration of music technology in the music curriculum. I have had the pleasure of interviewing a bunch of these presenters on my podcast. Check these episodes out:
I hope that you’ll register for this amazing event and attend either remotely or take a trip of a lifetime (if you’re not already in ANZ) to Adelaide and attend in person. Adelaide is an amazing city, Keith and his team are amazing hosts, and the program that he has put together rivals anything available here in the US. I hope to see you there!
