MusicProfessor Videos Now Available in the MusicFirst Classroom!
We are THRILLED to announce that all of the Level One videos from the fantastic MusicProfessor are now available at no extra charge for ALL MusicFirst Classroom customers starting today! I announced this feature on this blog back in June, and our incredible content team has been working away to get them all in place for the start of the 2023-24 school year. This short post will show you where they live within the MusicFirst Classroom, what information the videos contain, and how you can share them with your students to help them improve their performance and understanding of a wide variety of instruments.
To locate the MusicProfessor videos, just follow these simple steps:
Select the MusicFirst Library from the main Content menu.
Click on either the Band or Orchestra Content Library, depending on what you are teaching.
Search for MusicProfessor (no spaces) in the Search bar on the right side of the specific content library you selected.
Choose the set of videos that you would like to use with your students and click either Use Unit Now to use with a specific class you are currently teaching OR Add Unit to Favorites so that you can use it with multiple classes.
Once you have the videos imported into the class that you are looking to use them in, select the specific lesson and assign it to the students by either dragging it to the Class Calendar on the date that you’d like the videos to appear to the students and click Make Visible.
There are literally HUNDREDS of these professionally produced videos now available in the MusicFirst Classroom. They are wonderful supplements to your existing instruction and provide students with high quality content that targets the exact skills that they might need help with.
