Resource - Mr. G’s Boomwhacker Channel

Are you a music educator who incorporates Boomwhackers into your music curriculum? If so, you can thank me later! Introducing Mr. G’s Boomwhacker Channel on YouTube. Holy moly - what an incredible free resource this is!

I’m not really sure who the mysterious Mr. G actually is (I looked everywhere to find out more about him) but wow - this is an amazing find. This YouTube channel literally has HUNDREDS of free, animated videos featuring public domain songs that take the concept of RockBand and applies it to Boomwhackers. There are falling, color-coded bars that land on boomwhackers with the pitch names on them. The colors correspond to the colors of the Boomwhackers so students will easily be able to follow along.

There are a BUNCH of holiday songs that you can work on with your students right now in your classroom. I strongly recommend checking this channel out (if you haven’t already), and supporting the mysterious Mr. G by patronizing his Teachers Pay Teachers store - which has tons of boomwhacker resources there.

If anyone knows Mr. G - please send me his contact info!
