Resources for Chinese New Year
January 22, 2023 is the Lunar New Year or commonly known as Chinese New Year, even though the Lunar New Year is celebrated in many other countries. 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit. I used to bring my daughters to the parades in Chinatown here in NYC every year - and they LOVED the colors, music, noises and even the fireworks.
But what is the Lunar New Year and Chinese New Year all about? Here are some wonderful online resources for you to share with your students when you get back to school tomorrow. It is a PERFECT time to explore the music of the Chinese culture. 新年快乐!
